I was lucky enough to get to help J & J plan their beautiful June wedding. These two are such a calm, kind-hearted and down to earth couple, who really just wanted their guests to enjoy their big day. They got married on her family farm just outside of Guelph Ontario, and the day was absolutely gorgeous! Filled with smiles, a few happy tears, and pure bliss. Along with some rock, a food truck, and and a whole lot of entertainment.
Their reception was housed in one of my most favorite and unique wedding locations so far, the shed.
Sunflowers and Toronto Maple Leaf blue were the colors behind this beautiful day. The reception theme was centered around their travels together, the venue was decorated with travel memories and memorabilia. The seating chat, table numbers, and bottles of wine all were customized to play on theme, showcasing photos of the two of them from around the world.
Guests were invited to witness their vows in the backyard, enjoying the warm sun. After they made their way over to the shed for a cocktail hour complete with lawn games. Dinning on amazing appetizers, a buffet dinner, and a delicious dessert from Frabert’s Catering. They partied all night long listening to a live band, snapped photos at the photo booth, and snacked on fried pickles, and poutine – from the late night food truck! This wedding was all about fun – and fun was definitely had!
J & J I wish you nothing but pure happiness as husband and wife! It was an honor to be apart of your wedding day.
